MRIYA is a response to the challenges encountered by millions of Ukrainians compelled to flee their homes due to war. The project aims to offer assistance, foster community, and facilitate professional development for young refugees resettled in New York. Leveraging the extensive experience of Marks JCH in serving immigrants and displaced individuals, as well as working with teenagers and young adults, MRIYA actively engages with young Ukrainians to provide support and opportunities for growth.

A Mriya [dream] transcends mere desires or future plans. It imparts the sensation that even within the realm of daily existence, something lofty exists; a force capable of elevating us beyond the ordinary. A dream serves as the catalyst for our creativity, propelling us to aspire towards more, to unearth novel vistas. It infuses purpose into our actions, painting our life's journey with vibrant hues.
The core of our design philosophy revolves around cultivating a welcoming ambiance within the realm of human connections. It is infused with an aura of benevolence, confidence, lightheartedness, and fervor, encapsulating the very essence we perceived from the Mriya project and translating it into a unified visual concept.

[about idea]
The logo encapsulates the emotional heart of the "Mriya" brand – crafting a realm where each individual can allow their aspirations to take flight, an environment infused with a climate of empathy, trust, and mutual support. The avian emblem within this logo serves not only as a symbol of dreams but also as a guiding presence, directing us toward inspiration and the fulfillment of our coveted objectives within novel contexts.
The logo is comprised of three foundational components.
Employing the gestalt principle, the logo ingeniously reshapes the form of the letter 'A' into an icon depicting a bird in flight, ascending skyward.

This brandbook serves as a portal, offering a glimpse into the world through the eyes of those who courageously transformed an idea into a tangible symbol of compassion and benevolence, especially for those in need today. Through this design, I pay tribute to the essence of the JCH organization and its Mriya project, as well as the remarkable individuals driving it forward.
